Compensation: $150 for leading roles, $50 for minor roles
Synopsis: The colony ship Avalon was only a matter of days from reaching its destination – a distant, Earth-like planet, where the crew could begin the arduous work of building an ecosystem from the ground up and giving humanity a second chance to thrive.
Then the meteoroid hit.
A single, tiny rock, smashing into the side of their ship, and a discovery that will change the future of humanity forever. There, pulsating away in the fragments of the debris... Life. Alien. Intelligent. Hungry. And it’s loose.
With no way to contact mission control, and the ship’s autopilot fully locked on course, the crew of the Avalon is trapped and running out of time. One by one, the creature is hunting them. Moment by moment, humanity’s future is slipping away... New life always comes at a cost – and it will have blood.

Notes on Auditioning
We at No Such Thing Productions believe that representation is an integral part of storytelling. How boring and terrible would it be if everyone looked, sounded, thought, and behaved exactly the same way! We seek to tell stories that are as diverse, vibrant, and beautiful as the world we live in. Our aim is to share the stories of all people, and to highlight the lives and achievements of marginalized creators and people who may not otherwise find the space to tell their stories – stories full of hope, and wonder, where people like YOU (yes, you!) are prominently and positively featured. Because EVERYONE deserves the chance to see themselves as the hero.
We wholeheartedly welcome all ethnicities and all genders to audition. Trans and non-binary actors are encouraged to apply for any roles you would feel comfortable performing.
We are dedicated to making auditions accessible to all actors. If you need assistance auditioning, please do not hesitate to let us know!
Auditions are open to anyone over the age of 18, as our series usually include both mature situations and language. No previous experience is required, (in fact, new voices are HIGHLY encouraged to audition). Our only requirement is that, because all actors will be recording remotely, you must have access to a reliable microphone and a quiet recording space, free of echoes. Please record your audition using the setup you intend to use if you are cast.
